For Landlords – You can now list your entire place for rental on Hemavi.

For Tenants – You can now browse entire apartments/houses available for rental, and apply for those exclusively if you want to.

For Landlords – The whole ‘Manage My Listings’ section has gone through a facelift – so that it’s even easier for you to manage your listings.

Fixed an issue where Landlords couldn’t properly verify their emails.

For Tenants – Tenants are now able to confirm interviews via the Hemavi Platform by themselves, or suggest alternatives that would work for them (rather than have to go through our Support staff to do so)

For Landlords – Landlords can now receive alternate suggestions from the Tenants regarding the online viewing, and confirm one slot directly on the Hemavi Platform.

Optimized image formats primarily for photo highlights, so that images are now always loaded as fast as possible with minimal loss in image quality.

For Tenants – Improved the ‘new rooms notifications’ so that the emails are received only when the location of the new listing is an excellent match for the tenant.

For Landlords – On mobile, fixed an issue at the end of the onboarding process, where landlords were sometimes incorrectly redirected to the sign up flow again after authentication.

Fixed an issue for when interviews were cancelled, but users were not notified correctly (or still received notifications on interviews that were no longer going to happen)

For Landlords – Fixed an issue where the landlord service fee was incorrectly showing for Landlords renting out in Denmark.

For Landlords – Revamped the entire onboarding process for landlords, to make it easier to sign up, and clarify why our landlords can find better tenants on Hemavi.

Improved communications when an online viewing that has been confirmed, is cancelled.

Minor bug fixes

Added a feature that makes it clearer to Users when there are important parts of their personal profile that are incomplete.

For Landlords – Updated the Profile Info section for Landlords to be clearer as to what’s expected concerning Profile Photos and Personal Bios.

Fixed an issue when a Landlord had multiple rooms and received applications, but those applications were sometimes not showing up properly.

Fixed an issue with room photos sometimes appearing as distorted.

Fixed an issue where applications were canceled or rejected after an online viewing was confirmed, but the user still received reminder notifications about the viewing.

Fixed an issue with interview reminders were sometimes sent one hour earlier than expected due to daylight savings.

For Tenants – Revamped the entire sign up flow for Users to make it easier to sign up, and clearer as to what’s expected.

For Landlords – Clarified in the landlord sign up flow, that listing of entire apartments/houses is possible on Hemavi, as long as the rooms are rented out individually.

Fixed an issue where rooms that have been inactive for a while were still being able to be applied to.

For Landlords – Fixed an issue where Landlords could not edit their profile just after sign up.

Gave the User Profile a fresh new look, coupled with a dedicated section for Photo Highlights accessible to both Landlords and Tenants.

Gave the Contact Support page a fresh new look, with more information about how to contact the Hemavi team, regardless of who you are.

Fixed an issue with the Create Account pop-up UI sometimes breaking when opening it directly from an external link.

For Tenants – Updated the ‘How it works’ section to better explain the current user journey that includes the online interview.

For Landlords – Added a confirmation pop-up after ‘Decline Application’ to prevent landlords from declining applications by mistake.

For Tenants – Fixed an issue on the My Applications page where the room’s area was incorrectly displayed as {{neighbourhood}}

Deprecated support for the Chat feature

For Tenants – Added a ‘Preferred Location’ feature, which allows tenants to specify where they want to live close to. Default sorting in ‘Find Rooms’ also considers the distance between each room, and the Tenant’s Preferred Location.

For Landlords – The ‘Find Tenants’ feature now considers the tenants' Preferred Location in the sorting algorithm.

For Landlords – Improved the navigation for the Complete/Edit Room process on mobile.

For Landlords – Improved the UI for the ‘Manage my Listings’ page

For Tenants – Fixed an issue with Tenants either not receiving New Room Notifications at all, or receiving multiple about the same room in a row.

Fixed an issue with Users not being able to send messages after a booking has been completed.

Fixed an issue on Tenant Profiles, where the budget was not displayed correctly if above 7000 SEK.

Clarified that the room description is an optional field whenever a Landlord is creating a room ad.

Fixed an issue with authentication in general where users were sometimes incorrectly prompted to log in.

Fixed an issue for landlords where rooms that have just been booked were not showing up anymore in Manage Applications.

Fixed an issue where URLs in SMS messages were not displaying correctly.

Fixed an issue where tenants were incorrectly allowed to send applications for rooms that had just been booked.

Major SEO fixes and improvements

Added a new feature called ‘Recommended Tenants’ which suggests the best tenants for the Landlord, and allows them to send invitations to multiple eligible tenants.

Tenants can now fill more possible values for their ‘budget’.

Improved our notifications systems to cover more scenarios and be more personalised, so that users can be better informed of their progress in the Hemavi journey.
